Advanced NL2SQL Agent (General Availability)

Advanced NL2SQL delivers more accurate and reliable query generation for SQL data sources by combining stronger data exploration, schema understanding, and example-driven reasoning. The agent is better at learning from example queries and applying those patterns to new user questions, even when requests have not been explicitly anticipated. Before generating queries, it can examine datasets, tables, columns, and relationships to identify the most relevant data and construct higher-quality queries with fewer instructions and less manual tuning. These enhancements improve first-pass query accuracy, reduce prompt engineering requirements, and enable Data Agents to answer a broader range of business questions with greater consistency and confidence.Today, these capabilities are available in preview through the [Preview Runtime](https://learn.microsoft.com/fabric/data-science/data-agent-runtime), which includes Advanced NL2SQL improvements such as better example query following, improved filter value substitution, and more effective ambiguity handling before generating queries. These capabilities will be generally available as part of the Advanced NL2SQL experience.
