Description

The Migration Assistant for Data Warehouse is a built-in tool in Microsoft Fabric that helps organizations migrate their existing data warehouses--such as those from Azure Synapse Analytics or SQL Server--into the Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse environment. The Migration Assistant provides a guided, AI-assisted experience to:Migrate metadata (schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, etc.) using a DACPAC file.

Fix compatibility issues in T-SQL scripts automatically or with guided help.

**Copy data **from the source warehouse using Fabric Data Factory.

Reroute connections from source systems to the new Fabric warehouse.
