Fabric Local MCP (General Availability)
Fabric Developer Experiences · General availability · Planned
Description
After a successful public preview, Fabric Local MCP is now generally available. This open-source MCP server runs locally on your machine, connecting AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot to Fabric. It provides API schemas and validation, item definitions, and other resources to help developers generate accurate code and streamline local-to-cloud workflows -- now with improved tooling and broader capabilities.
