Description
Capacity Overview Events in Real-Time Hub give Microsoft Fabric capacity administrators a production-ready, near-real-time way to monitor capacity health and respond before users are affected.- Capacity Summary events are emitted every 30 seconds and provide a high-level view of capacity utilization and health across workloads, including CU consumption, overage, and throttling indicators.- Capacity State events are emitted when important conditions change, including when a capacity is paused, resumed, overloaded, or enters a throttling-related state.- Administrators can create Activator alerts and notifications, trigger automated operational workflows, route events through Eventstream, retain them in Eventhouse for historical analysis, and build custom monitoring experiences.- The generally available release includes the reliability, scalability, architecture, and monitoring improvements needed for production adoption.Together, these event streams help organizations detect capacity pressure earlier, automate responses, preserve operational history, and use trend data for governance and capacity planning. Customers can get started in Real-Time Hub by selecting Fabric events and Capacity overview events, then creating an eventstream or setting an alert for a selected capacity.
